1:14
ministry um including his temptation in the wilderness. And um several of the uh writers that I've looked at um they they use terminology like this, a new
1:25
starting point. Um a new starting point for the human race is how uh Campbell Morgan uh puts it.
1:36
Um, and again I'm I'm following most uh closely of of the gospels uh Luke. Um,
1:46
and we find uh most of what I'm going to talk about. Um, and I say that looking at my notes. We're going to kind of go back and forth
1:57
a little bit, but in uh in Luke 4, um but the idea that um after
2:10
um his baptism his baptism by John and with the Holy Spirit, um Jesus seems to
2:25
um display a complete realization of what it means to be human, what it means to be uh human personality.
2:38
Um, and I guess this is kind of my my premise for this series, this these uh four months is
2:48
that one, Jesus didn't come or wasn't just a man who happened to be um guided by the Holy Spirit um as an example for humans.
3:03
Um although his example um the writers of scripture call upon us to to look at his example but that Jesus being filled by the Holy
3:15
Spirit as we read in in Luke 4:E1 and Jesus full of the Holy Spirit returned from the Jordan that was his
3:26
baptism and was led about by the spirit in the wilderness for 40 days. Um this new starting point
3:50
even the first word and we we do not read that at least in New American Standard doesn't show the Greek but it's Jesus himself. Jesus himself. There's there seems to be behind this
4:01
something about the fact that this is Jesus fully human, fully realized, but he's full of the Holy Spirit um as he's
4:12
going. It it's it's seems uh almost as if it's kind of a a proof to us of of what happened in his
4:23
growing up years. what we read in in Luke um and his baptism by the Holy Spirit and um it
4:36
it's not what do I want to say it it's a starting point for humanity but it is exemplifying that Jesus never it it
4:48
wasn't a a one-time thing it wasn't just something that happened we see uh in verse one, Jesus himself full of the Holy Spirit. Um
5:09
and then you read down in verse 15 after the temptations the temptations by Satan. Um and he um let's see, sorry. Um
5:21
verse 14. And Jesus again, Jesus himself
5:58
And Jesus returned to Galilee and the power of the spirit and news about him spread throughout all the surrounding district. So district. So after the baptism, he begins
6:13
immediately uh he's he's tempted by Satan these 40 days. Um, and there's what many theologians believe is is a
6:25
one-year period here where putting the gospels together, there seems to be this year where not much is said, but when he returns
6:39
to Galilee again, he he is in the power of the spirit. This is not something that was just at baptism, but this is a man of the spirit. Um,
6:58
he is the second Adam. He is among those um, and I guess this is what struck me from from Luke, this um, starting point or showing us
7:10
the way. um this idea of being approved by God. Um, listen, this
7:22
is um from what we know and call the um Christmas story
7:34
Christmas story where the the angels appeared to the shepherds out shepherds out keeping their flock by night. And it says the glory glory to God in the
7:44
highest and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased. He's saying this is what's coming. The the angels announcing this.
7:55
announcing this. But then we hear as the first man, the second Adam, but first of these
8:10
in Luke 3 when Jesus was baptized and it says a voice came out of heaven. This is 3:22. You are my beloved son. In you I am well pleased. There there seems to be this
8:24
announcement the the being well pleased approved by God in the announcement from the angels. And here we see the inauguration.
8:35
Um I don't know maybe that's not the right word but this in you I am well pleased. He says, the father says of Jesus, and yet we know
8:46
that he his coming, his walking among us, his incarnation is so that there would be
8:58
those who would be glory to God and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased. That there would be men and women, children with whom he is
9:08
pleased. Um pleased. Um so I I don't know. It just struck me as I as I read in Luke 3 the echo from
9:20
the angels in Luke 2 that there would be those with whom he is well pleased.
9:30
Um, and the starting point
10:00
that we would know what real human life is or is supposed to be. Um, again, not just a man who was faithful, a good teacher, loving, kind,
10:11
meek, mild, meek, mild, a man walking by the spirit, full of the Holy Spirit, walking in the power of the spirit.
10:33
there seems to be this um, and I don't know, maybe maybe I'm wrong here, but let me read John 14 where and I'm obviously we're getting a little ahead of ourselves studying the
10:43
spirit. But this is what Jesus says about him. I will ask the father and he will give you another helper that he may be with you forever. that that is the
10:55
spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive but it does not see him or know him but you know him because he abides with you and will be in you. Well Jesus
11:05
is exemplifying that Jesus the spirit is abiding in him and is with him.
11:18
And to me, again, I couldn't help it, and I hope this is not wrong and and and shaking you, but I I was thinking in Genesis 2
11:33
when the father looks at Adam and the Lord God said, Genesis 2:18, "It is not good for a man to be alone.
11:44
I will make him a helper suitable for him. Yes, I'm not denigrating marriage. I'm not saying everybody needs to be a unic. Don't don't get me there.
11:56
But this helper who would come would be for all. If if Paul says in Ephesians 5 that when he speaks of marriage, he says
12:09
it's a mystery, but I speak of Christ and the church. And if we have Christ and the church
12:20
without the Holy Spirit, it ain't a church. the the three have to be there, the Christ and Christ spirit
12:30
in his people in the church. Um to me, I think the theologians get this right
12:41
that this is showing us um that we don't walk alone. That there there yes there is a great
12:54
mystery But it is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. Doesn't deny all that we see in the
13:06
scriptures about the the beauty and the sanctity of of marriage. But this brings the helper to everyone.
13:16
And um I don't know um I'll let you ponder that or if you want to throw the tomatoes fine. But uh to me there is
13:26
there's something very powerful about this idea that here is the man of the spirit. And what does God say? This is my beloved son. Listen to him.
13:38
Imitate him. Yes. I'm just struck by the fact that we see the baptism by
13:54
go into the wilderness for days. striking striking example of what the spirit is intended to do.
14:22
or even preaching to first, right? Yeah. right? Yeah. And that's that's what we're gonna talk about now. Um and and I as I erase this, I I'm going to ask this question
14:32
about the temptation. Um, is it proper to interpret Jesus temptations by Satan
14:43
as a model for how Christians ought to face temptation?
15:28
territory. Um because Satan is deceived. Uh, the great deceiver is deceived because he tells Jesus at one point, "Do
15:39
you see all these kingdoms that I own? They're mine." And Jesus knows all along they ain't his, but he's deceived. So,
15:50
it's enemy occupied territory. Matthew in his gospel does not so much um see Jesus is being
16:03
attacked in his personality but but more as uh the the attack um I don't know how to write this. So,
16:14
so Matthew so Matthew the the attack is
16:34
and and this is an oversimplification I guess but um it helps me as a starting spot just to kind of orient the the gospel writers ers um
16:46
but it's it's more on his messianic um his his office. So when he gives the temptations and if you read them um and
16:58
it had been a while I guess than I read them that they're not in the same order in the gospels and I think that's again the emphasis of the gospel writers. Um what we see in
17:11
Luke is more um toward his him as a man. Um and
17:27
again since this is the one I I studied the most. Uh I guess it's the one that's more top of my mind. But um he tempted with the bread. He he's he his
17:38
physical body. physical body. You know, man does not live by bread alone, he says. But Satan is attacking him on that personal physical level.
18:04
this one was harder for me to um to try to understand. Um, but he he's being attacked um
18:15
in Luke on the the in the next one. um that you know I'll give you all the domain. He shows him all the kingdoms
18:25
and I I'll give you all the domain and its glory. Um and it's it's a compromise
18:36
uh that he wants him to uh to enter in um in this case. But again, I'm not sure that I can
18:53
understand the uh the compromise here, but he's attacking it in his social
19:07
awareness. And then the last um of course is the the spiritual um attack. Um
19:18
he says uh if you're the son of God, throw yourself down. His angels will keep charge over you. He quotes scripture to Jesus. And then he says,
19:28
you shall not put the Lord your God to the test. There is here um again there. I think there's
19:39
you could use the word compromise as a as a man in in all of these things. uh someone who hadn't eaten for 40 days being tempted physically um compromising
19:56
authority um in the world but also here um the the spiritual um Satan I mean in when we see
20:08
this one throwing yourself down he's trying to get Jesus to do something spectacular something really fantastic And Jesus says that's that's not what
20:19
the kingdom is all about. And we know that, you know, the son of man has not come to to be served, but to serve. He he's come to to be a servant
20:32
to eventually lay down his life for his friends. But friends. But where he goes is man
20:52
man's designed to worship God and serve him alone. Um and what we see here I I think um is
21:05
Jesus has been well equipped in his lifetime to meet the attack to to address the the
21:18
conflict. He he has been equipped for battle. um as as the last Adam, he he faced temptation. Uh and there are those who
21:30
say again trying to answer this question is it is it proper to interpret Jesus temptation as an and I would say as only an example for Christians and I would
21:42
say no definitely not as the only an example. He's being attacked as the the Messiah.
21:55
He He's being attacked here as as a man, as a human. Um
22:10
and um and um he had already faced temptations earlier in his life. It's not like after his baptism. Okay. Now Jesus faces his first
22:22
temptation. He's tempted from childhood. Uh from his first ability to reason. Um this is
22:32
this is what's going on here is cosmic. It's it's beyond um just um an example for us. Uh although again it can be. But
22:44
this is a holy war. Hell is trying to defeat heaven. defeat heaven. This is um
23:00
and and Jesus has been prepared by the Holy Spirit to be a warrior. Um we again what what what do we see from the
23:13
scriptures, the Old Testament? Um I was reading uh Exodus 15 about Moses his his song after they uh the Exodus and he says the Lord is my strength and song.
23:26
He has become my salvation. This is my God and I will praise him. My father's God and I will exto him extol him. The Lord is a warrior. The Lord is his name.
23:39
Um we read in the scriptures the psalms um particularly um particularly about the his right hand Psalm 98 his right hand and his holy arm have gained
23:50
the victory for him. Um we we read in in other places um in Isaiah about the the um the Lord's uh right arm or his uh
24:04
righteous right arm. um Jesus is is showing he's he's a warrior here. And um he's going to do as the second
24:16
Adam what the first Adam failed to do, which was when he was tested and tempted, he did not re uh give in that
24:27
he was able to resist. he was able to uh thwart the temptations and he obeyed and he never he never failed. Um, one of the
24:39
and I I forget who it was, but one of the commentators says he takes the 40day wilderness temptation as a rerun of the
24:50
40 years of um
25:01
the Israel in the in the wilderness. Uh some call it a rerun of of Eden where the first atom failed but the second atom did not. Um
25:13
so there is um I don't know again I the word cosmic is one that comes to mind. This is monumental battle here. Um and it's interesting you
25:28
know this is From the gospel writer's point of view, we we see this in the actual temptations, but um
25:48
Um in Matthew in Matthew uh and Luke uh we we read this uh Jesus was led up by the spirit into the wilderness to be
26:00
tempted by the devil. Um
26:10
so the the word is is led. Um, and in Mark, uh, sorry, Luke, um, because Mark is the exception. Luke, it says, "Jesus, full of the spirit returned from the Jordan
26:21
and was led around by the spirit in the wilderness for 40 days, being tempted by the devil." Um again in in different
26:34
contexts um in in Matthew um it seems that again his messianic office is being attacked but um he's being led as God's anointed
26:44
king. Um, again, I'm try not trying to simplify the gospels down to little phrases, but again, get an idea of where Matthew is coming from.
26:57
And and Luke again with this idea of he is the the God man, the the son of man, uh, he uses quite often in his gospel.
27:07
Um, he's he's a kinsman redeemer. Um
27:24
so again that prophet, priest and king there, you know who Jesus is uh is fully you know the gospels capture it it all that full diadem of of who Christ is but
27:37
it uses the word led and the idea behind that that word is is not that he's dragging Jesus because we don't see any resistance on Jesus' part. Um to me it
27:52
it it's um the the word means um a logical uh and a guiding of um and an assisting
28:06
um of Jesus that is rational. But there's also the response there. Full submission and full cooperation, full dependence.
28:19
full dependence. What's interesting is that so this is Matthew and Luke, and Luke, but Mark uses the word
28:31
much stronger impelled. the um where is Josiah? It's ekbal. It means basically to cast out. He threw
28:45
him he drove him into the wilderness. Uh Mark says um he's being driven to the
28:58
conflict. Um, conflict. Um, and it's it's a very powerful image that uh the the spirit he's been
29:09
prepared these 30 years in the fullness of the spirit and now being now being driven to meet the devil. And again, the
29:22
the devil thinks he owns something. Luke Luke 4. Um, the devil led him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said, "I will give
29:33
you all of this domain and its glory, for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish." And Jesus says, "No, I I I own it all
29:45
already." Um, already." Um, and he knows he's in a position to strike fear into every demon. Um, and I
29:56
hadn't seen this, um, or at least had not had driven into my consciousness, but following these temptations. And it's not just three. Listen to Luke
30:10
4:13. When the devil had finished every temptation, he left him until an opportune time for a for a season. He he's he's
30:23
been thoroughly thrashed here in this first direct encounter. Um and then the very next verse says,
30:34
"And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the spirit." Um, he wins. he wins. Uh, it's
30:49
Satan attacked with every temptation. It says, and he's going to continue his attacks in various forms throughout Jesus ministry. It the temptations are not over.
31:00
not over. But what we see is is a a man of the spirit um who's who's met this temptation head on. Um and I would say again
31:14
knowing the scriptures uh knowing how to respond. I didn't uh dive into that m too much, but um a
31:24
point of interest to me was that all of Jesus responses were from Deuteronomy. and uh mostly Deuteronomy 18. And then we read later how
31:36
when Jesus gets up to speak and he quotes from Isaiah, but he's actually fulfilling Deuteronomy 18 as he speaks. Um is kind of an
31:49
interesting how that whole Old Testament just kind of ties it into a bow for us. But here we see um the power of of a man
32:03
walking in the spirit. Um walking in full obedience uh cooperation but in the knowledge of um this this
32:18
helper um who came alongside. Um questions, comments? questions, comments? I think it's
32:30
He used the word the word as weapon against.
32:52
Yeah. So it was those words that truth that spiritual truth. spiritual truth. Yeah. truth that Yeah. cuts. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. Um Yeah, that's
33:04
um I mean obviously there's a lot more uh of depth in those um the words that he used and the
33:16
temptations that he meant, the three that are are mentioned here. um and not um you know I don't want to do the sideline on that but yes very powerful
33:28
other comments questions
33:38
so I think the the spirit's role
34:01
I have a onet track mind. And uh And uh it's uh it's not getting any better with age. Uh age. Uh here's the the Messiah is going to go to
34:15
but I think um and and he you know again one of the the commentators uh calls it his secret conflict because there was no witnesses beyond the Holy Spirit with
34:28
him here. um and then recorded or helped the the gospel writers to understand it and record it
34:38
for us. But um the coming off of that time um Jesus went full gear into into
34:51
ministry. Um, ministry. Um, and um, and um, Peter picks this up in in I think it's Peter in Acts 10, uh, when he's trying
35:03
to explain this. He says, "You you know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power and how he went around doing good and
35:16
healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him." Um this is this is the role of the spirit in in the ministry kind of condensed form is Jesus
35:30
began to go around and do good and heal and confront the demons and and God was with him. Um, and I guess, um, the
35:43
question that I've been wrestling with, um, over the last year or so, um, is did Jesus walk in the power of the Holy
35:54
Spirit throughout his entire ministry? Again, we we tend to think that he is the God man. So some things he did as God and some things I I can't
36:06
well you can't separate those but there it seems from everything that I can read here that he during his entire ministry he's
36:20
walking and he's working in the power of the Holy Spirit that that he is he is the man of the spirit. He is showing us
36:32
what true humanity ought to be like walking in the spirit. Uh Sinclair Ferguson writes this, "The spirit's role in Jesus ministry is now evident. He
36:44
serves as the heavenly cgrapher and divine strategist who maps out the battle terrain and directs the warrior king to the strategic point of conflict.
36:57
He is Christ's agitant general in the holy war which is waged throughout the Um I don't write like that. I don't think
37:09
like the heavenly cgrapher. Those words don't come into my mind. But there is a strategy. There is a a direction here. There is a um a power here of this um
37:23
power presence of the spirit that we saw in the Old Testament and um declaring among people that that the Lord is here.
37:34
Uh and Jesus walked in that and uh waged holy war. But um he he made people
37:48
start to notice um again let me uh let me go to Luke um and this is uh 4:14 and Jesus returned to Galilee and the
38:00
power of the spirit and news about him spread through all the surrounding district. Um, one of the commentators um
38:16
says, "No, no, the the word is is not news. It's rumor, but maybe not the way we think of rumor.
38:34
announcing himself. Um, and he's making a stir. We we see that beginning here in 4:14. Um, notice in verse 15, "And he began
38:46
teaching in their synagogues and was praised by all." for a while before we finish Luke four, they're going to be trying to kill him and
38:58
trying to push him off a cliff. I mean, but he's starting to cause a stir among the whole countryside
39:09
and the people were beginning to notice, ask questions, seek out, you know, who is this man?
39:19
And which you know is the greatest question that every individual in the world has to answer for themselves. for themselves. Who is this man?
39:31
Doesn't he ask that of the disciples later? Who do the people say that I am? And he said, "Yeah, that's not the most important question. Who do you
39:44
say that I am?" And I think he's getting people already to ask that question. Verse 22 of that same chapter. And all were speaking well
39:55
of him and wondering at his gracious words which were falling from his lips. And they were saying, "Is this not Joseph's son?" Again, who who who is
40:08
this man? Um, and by the way, in verse 15, when it says he was praised by all, it was he was glorified by all, but not in the sense that we as believers would
40:19
say we glorify Christ. Um, they're amazed and they're saying praises, but they're saying it in
40:30
their wonderment and questioning. At least that's how I see it.
40:53
there's an influence on his his teaching and of course in the temptation that the handling of the scriptures. Uh he began teaching in their synagogues and they were glorifying him. They were they were amazed
41:05
um on his teaching.
41:19
Um verses 31 and 32 of that same chapter, Luke 4. And he came down to Capernaum, a city in Galilee, and he was teaching them on the Sabbath, and they were
41:30
amazed at his teaching, for his message was with authority. Um, again, um,
41:40
he's walking in the power of the spirit here. People are reacting. Um the amazement is is um a combination of you
41:50
know a marvel but also a where does this come from amazement as well. Who is this man? Um,
42:08
I had to do spell check three times to get this word and I'm probably going to get it wrong here, but um,
42:26
Matthew 12 28 he says, "But if I cast out demons by the spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you. And in Luke when he cast out uh demons,
42:38
it says, "And amazement came upon them all and they began talking with one another saying, what is this message? For with authority and power he commands
42:49
the unclean spirits, and they come out." Um again just uh the word Luke has used several times
42:59
already the you know power but also authority. Um, and that seems to be
43:21
in Jesus development growing in wisdom and uh and uh that 30-year preparation for this. And then uh there's probably more that I
43:33
could um
43:48
later in chapter 4 verse 40 while the sun was setting all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him and laying his hands on each one of them he was healing them.
43:59
Um I Um I Jesus was a man of the spirit and u don't don't forget um and I'll I'll read
44:12
it again um the intended effect of the spirit upon him is foretold in Isaiah 42 and then
44:23
and then Luke tells us as he's growing up let me just again remind you of these Luke or Isaiah 42 to behold my spirit whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom my soul
44:35
delights. I have put my spirit upon him. And in Luke 2:52, and Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature and in
44:45
favor with God and man, that his his development in his childhood. And then in Luke 3, and the Holy Spirit descended
44:56
upon him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, you are my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. Um, again, just uh the power, the
45:07
authority, the um way that he conducts himself. All of this seems to to me as as proof
45:19
of Isaiah's prophecy is true in this man.
45:58
I was reading um I don't know, looking something up, I guess. uh trying to find some passages that had had uh been special to me years and years ago in Isaiah 40. Uh just that um idea of how
46:26
But we see that it it it's not Jesus one-sided, the meek and lowly that the scriptures say of him as we we see of God. Um he's the warrior king. He
46:38
he's the um the one who can can be u mighty at the same time he can be gentle. Um, and I was just struck by reading it um, this morning um, as I ate
46:52
my pancakes um, Isaiah 40:es 10 and 11. Behold, the Lord God will come with might, with his arm ruling for him.
47:04
Behold, his reward is with him and his recence before him. Got it? And then verse 11, which is
47:14
quite close to verse 10. Like a shepherd, he will tend his flock. In his arms, he will gather the lambs and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead
47:26
the nursing youth. Just this is the man. He he he personifies all of these things in in the spirit. He he's he's um
47:41
what's the the phrase that some people you know I'm I'm living the life.
48:09
about walking in the spirit is personified in Jesus. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. And
48:22
he goes on in that same chapter, Galatians 5, if we live by the spirit, let us also keep in step with the spirit. Jesus is living the life of
48:32
holiness by the spirit. James chapter 3, who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his
48:42
deeds and the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down
48:54
from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambitions exist, there is disorder in every evil thing. But the wisdom from
49:06
above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is
49:17
righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. Um Jesus is living this life in the in the spirit. Um
49:30
I've got a couple minutes left. Um, and you may be as asking, but what about the miracles?
49:47
I'm going to read from Luke chapter 10 in my response and we'll we'll end with this uh couple of thoughts. But I don't think Jesus emphasis is on the
49:58
miracles themselves miracles themselves but about but about glorifying God in them. He obviously to me he's walking in the fruits of the
50:11
spirit, the gifts of the spirit, but his personality is not limited to the gifts. It's not limited to emotions,
50:22
but it is guided by and grounded in his knowledge of God. Um, this is what he says. The 70 that he sent out to preach were returning. He says Luke 10 chapter
50:34
uh Luke back chapter 10 verse 17 the 70 return with joy saying Lord even the demons are subject to us in your name
50:44
and then they go on a little bit but then he says nevertheless verse 20 not rejoice in this that the spirits are subject subject to you but
50:55
rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven at that very time he rejoiced greatly in the holy Holy Spirit. That's pretty amazing phrase. And I praise you,
51:06
oh Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have not hidden these things from the wise and intelligent. Uh you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this is the
51:19
way. This way was pleasing in your sight. He he Yes. He's walking in the gifts and he appreciates the the the spirit here and the the work. He says
51:32
he's rejoicing, but his focus is on what what God is doing among men and he's focusing on how God is revealing again
51:42
the presence of God among them. Um, and I'm I'm going to end with this from from John 16. Um when Jesus is trying to explain some of these things to the
51:56
disciples, I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot hear them now. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. For you will not speak on his own initiative,
52:06
but whatever he hears, he will speak, and he will disclose to you what is to come. He shall glorify me, for he shall take of mine and disclose it to you. All
52:18
things that the Father has are mine. Therefore, I said to you that he takes of mine and will disclose it to you. A little while and you will no longer behold me and again a little while and
52:30
you will see me. Let us pray. Our heavenly father, we do we thank you for this plan
52:42
this plan of sending the Lord Jesus Christ, but we also thank you for his obedience, his willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit
52:52
to walk in the authority and power that has been given to him as the spirit came upon him. Thank you that this trinity, this trinity and unity that we
53:06
see in the scriptures is is your idea. Thank you that you have shown it to us. Thank you that you have shown us the man
53:16
of the spirit and his awesomeness as he walked in the spirit, the way in which he conducted himself and yet pointing us back to you. Father,
53:29
these things are are high and they're wonderful. Please help us as we meditate upon them. Please help us as we we walk in them that we would truly be the
53:40
people of the spirit that we would as he did keep in step with the spirit. Thank you for these things. Thank you for what you will do in building your church. In
53:51
Christ's name, amen.
