0:50
In our discussion of the Holy Spirit, we were looking at some of the uh kind of reviewing the preparation of the Holy Spirit's work from uh the fall to the Messiah.
1:03
Uh looking at um the privilege of that prophecy of the Holy Spirit um working in men to tell us of things to come
1:16
and uh the gift that that is. And as we move into uh the Holy Spirit in the New Testament uh
1:27
or and the New Testament because as we've seen uh he is in the Old um I'm actually going to read a number of passages from the Old Testament. Um it's
1:40
and I don't know which which author um that I was reading who used this. uh probably Owen because of the the language here, but uh could have been
1:52
Sinclair Ferguson or George Smeen or um some of the others, but um
2:21
Uh the promise of of this plentif oh rising instead of falling. Um the plentiful uh the promise of the plentiful eusion of the Holy Spirit from
2:33
the Old Testament. And eusion is is water. It's it's the flowing of water. Um we use it sometimes in reference to u
2:45
uh baptism. if you do the pouring as we saw last weekend or the the dunking the overflowing. Uh but the idea is that is a pouring out and
2:59
we're we're going to see this phrase in both the Hebrew and the Old Testament and the Greek and the New Testament, this idea of pouring out. And
3:10
um so I'm uh it may sound strange uh that we're talking about in the New Testament and starting with the Old again, but uh just
3:22
decided to uh to read a number of scriptures uh so that you you get the idea of um how the Old Testament sees
3:34
the coming of the the new covenant. And um we don't want to miss the connection to the New Testament of course. So we'll
3:46
look at some scriptures there. Um but we want to understand well why is it important that that we get this and I have not read widely enough as some of
3:57
these other uh scholars have obviously but as you read Calvin you read Owen you read some uh from that um the older
4:07
generations and they're they come across and and maybe again if I was more widely read in in modern literature for those
4:18
who um think that the spirit either is not seen in the Old Testament, which obviously we have witnessed that, we've
4:28
seen that. Um but also that somehow the spirit disappears or becomes less uh in the New Testament uh and and
4:43
downplayed um in perhaps modern Christianity. Um and and yet what we see here, this plentiful um this pouring out um I think
4:55
you'll see that uh the Old Testament writers, the the prophets um there's there's a language here that's
5:07
um quite vivid. Um so without further ado, let me read. This is Isaiah 35.
5:18
Say to those anxious in heart, "Take courage. Fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance. The recompense of God will come, but he will save you."
5:29
Then the eyes of the blind will be open, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break
5:41
forth in the wilderness, and streams in the arabah. The scorched land will become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water. In the haunt of
5:51
jackals its resting place, grass becomes reeds and rushes. A highway will be there, a roadway, and it will be called the highway of holiness. The unclean
6:03
will not travel on it, but it will be for him who walks that way, and fools will not wander on it. No lion will be there, nor will any vicious beast go up
6:15
on it. These will not be found there, but the redeemed will walk there. And the ransomed of the Lord will return and come with shoutful joy, joyful shouting
6:26
to Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Um, doesn't that sound like the narrow
6:38
way? Doesn't that sound like the highway that we are led upon in the New Testament u language but there is that
6:52
idea of the overflowing the waters will break forth in the wilderness streams in the Arabah. Um this is the prophecy of
7:03
things to come. Um, in Isaiah 44, we get a little clearer picture of the connection to the spirit.
7:15
But now listen, oh Jacob, my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen. Thus says the Lord, who made you and formed you in the womb, who will help you. Do
7:26
not fear, oh Jacob, my servant, and you, Jeseron, whom I have chosen. For I will pour out water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground. And I will
7:37
pour out my spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your descendants. And they will spring up among the grass like poppplers by streams of water. Sounds
7:48
like Psalm 1, doesn't it? Um, this one will say, "I am the Lord's." And that one will call on the name of Jacob. and another will write on his hand belonging
7:59
to the Lord and will name Israel's name with honor. Um again direct connection from the idea of the flowing streams
8:11
and um not to be missed uh in this um is the um the um the prosperity or the the idea of life
8:25
of of um what does he say in in uh Isaiah 35? The scorched land will become a pool and uh springs and then resting place with
8:36
grass and reads and rushes. And here the streams on the dry dry ground will spring up grass like poppplers by streams of water. Um there's
8:50
there's a promise of of something good of something uh that brings uh life back to parched ground, dry ground um
9:06
deserts. And then of course the one u repeated in acts uh at pentecost the Joel 2. It will come about after this that I will pour
9:17
out my spirit on all mankind and your sons and daughters will prophesy your old men will dream dreams your young men will see visions even on the male and
9:27
female servants. I will pour out my spirit in those days. So th this idea of this eusion, this pouring out uh of the spirit is um a theme that seems to um
9:42
pun intended flow through the Old Testament uh through these these prophets. Um, again, Ezekiel 11, therefore, thus says the Lord, I
9:54
will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries among which you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. When they come there, they will remove all
10:04
detestable things and its all its abominations. And I will give them one heart and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh
10:16
and give them a heart of flesh that they may walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances and do them. Then they will be my people and I will be their God. Um
10:32
just again this this idea the the pouring out the and the changes, the the things that will be torn down, the things that will be um destroyed and the
10:46
things that will come, the new heart, the new life, the new walking uh in the new statutes and ordinances.
10:58
And then Ezekiel goes on in chapter 36, therefore says, "Say to the house of Israel, thus says the Lord, it is not
11:08
for your sake, oh house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for my holy name, which you have profained among the nations where you went. I will vindicate
11:19
the holiness of my great name, which has been profained among the nations, which you have profained in their midst." Then the nation will know that I am the Lord,
11:29
declares the Lord God, when I prove myself holy among you in their sight. For I will take you from the nations, gather you from all the lands, bring you
11:40
into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filth filthiness and from all your idols. Moreover, I will give you a new
11:51
heart and put a new spirit within you. and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes and
12:04
you will be careful to observe my ordinances. Um ordinances. Um this is
12:19
um this language very consistent um very uh something not of man, not of an invention but as
12:32
he says um through Ezekiel uh I will vindicate my holiness and my great name. I will do this. I am It It's not for
12:43
your sake. It's It's for mine. It's my act. It's It's my will. It's for me to prove my holiness
12:53
uh among the nations in in your sight. Um so we we have this promise um that these things will
13:05
happen. Um, happen. Um, but what is the connection to the to the New Testament?
13:17
There's probably a better word. I couldn't think of one. This connection, this um, the promise of the Old Testament was
13:30
for sure the coming of Christ in the flesh, the Messiah. But we see that it
13:41
how and I'm trying to think how um Ferguson put it, but it's it's almost as if we we
13:53
how great the connection is between the coming and not just the coming but the ministry of Christ and the Holy Spirit. And um I think my my challenge
14:09
for this this class this this quarter trimester whatever it is is to try to show the connection show the
14:20
and again that's there's a better word but uh and I want to show uh today how the New Testament shows us not just the connection of the son and the spirit but
14:33
how many times times all three the the persons of the Trinity, the the unity of the Trinity and the Trinity in unity uh in the in the verses of scripture. But
14:46
um my my endeavor again is to try to show how close that is and how we do uh
14:57
again searching for words but it's to our shame I guess that that we disconnect the Holy Spirit. They have the father and the son, but we kind of
15:08
put the holy spirit off in a category by himself. Um, and don't see how intimately connected uh the spirit was
15:19
in the ministry of of Christ. Um, and I've been uh my personal uh devotions um have been uh this this year in in Luke
15:32
and uh kind of primed to look for the the Holy Spirit mentioned, but then in what context?
15:43
what context? And uh you read through and this is kind of uh you know looking ahead but you read through the the miracles that that Jesus does and how many you know I I
15:57
know he raised Lazarus but reading this morning Gyrus's daughter was dead and he raised her. Um, and we go, "Yeah, that's
16:09
in the power of the spirit." But when he's preaching to the people and he says a phrase like,
16:21
"Not be careful what you hear, but be careful how you hear." Is he not also preaching in the Holy
16:31
Spirit? And so I I think again even myself not really conscious of how the Holy
16:42
Spirit worked and the depth of his work in in Christ's ministry. So anyway, that's where we're headed. But let's look at how Paul sees the connection to
16:53
his ministry and where that ministry what it is and where it comes from. Romans chapter 1.
17:15
Paul, a bondervant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures concerning his son, who
17:26
was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, who was declared the son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our
17:39
Lord, through whom we have received grace and apostilhip to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for his name's sake among whom
17:50
you also are the called of Jesus Christ to all who are beloved of God in Rome called as saints grace to you and peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus
18:02
Christ um Christ um looking at Christ coming in the flesh told by the prophets and the holy scriptures concerning his son that he
18:14
would be born from the line of David, but he would also be according to the script spirit of holiness, he would be
18:24
declared son of God with power by his resurrection from the dead. There's there's a that connection of the father, the son, and the holy spirit already in
18:35
there, but um proclaiming the coming of of Christ.
19:09
But what is the connection again to the Holy Spirit here? Why is the doctrine here so important here?
19:26
We've seen um again the the language used of the Holy Spirit is personal. It it's a who and not a what. We speak of him in personal terms.
19:37
But I think the scripture tells us that we only come to know the spirit fully because of Christ.
19:48
John 7 John 7 uh Jesus uh is attending the feast of booths. Now on the last day, the great day of
19:59
the feast, Jesus stood and cried out saying, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me, as the scripture said, from his
20:10
innermost being will flow rivers of living water." living water." But this he spoke of the spirit whom those who believed in him were to
20:22
receive. For the spirit was not yet given because Jesus was not yet glorified. So I I I think you see
20:42
here. For him, from him flows rivers of living water. But he speaks of the spirit, but the
20:52
spirit was not yet given because Christ had not yet been glorified. There there is a connection
21:08
um we know the spirit through seeing the work of Christ, the ministry of Christ.
21:22
yet or also or also I guess I should say the spirit only discloses himself in Christ, not apart from Christ.
21:35
John 16.
21:46
Again, this is a broad overview of things that hopefully we'll get more into, but just trying to see the flow. Again, this this idea, this living
21:58
water, the connection to the work of the spirit, the promise of the spirit. John 16, but when he, the spirit of truth comes, this is Jesus of course
22:09
speaking to his disciples. When he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. For he will not speak on his own initiative, but
22:21
whatever he hears, he will speak, and he will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify me, for he will take of mine and will disclose it to you. All
22:34
things that the Father has are mine. And therefore I said that he takes of mine and will disclose it to you.
22:47
Um again we again we we tend to marginalize the spirit and maybe maybe we forget
22:59
that the the spirit is not how do I say this? Um he only discloses himself again in his
23:09
connection to Christ and uh that idea of him focusing our attention on on Christ, our his
23:24
um his light, his guidance, his guidance, his um taking what he sees and helping us uh
23:34
focus us on that I think is is important. Yeah. Comment. Good.
24:44
Paul says, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree." In order in order that in Christ Jesus, the
24:54
blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles so that we would receive the promise of the spirit through faith.
25:05
Again, the the connection here is the connection is to Christ in order that the spirit comes to rest
25:16
upon men. I I think we have to get that that clear. Um and obviously not all understood that.
25:28
Um, and we see Paul later on um, explaining in Acts 19 explaining to
25:39
um, men uh, disciples of his um, of Christ in Ephesus. It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Pa Paul passed
25:50
through the upper country and came to Ephesus and found some disciples. And he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" And they said to him, "No, we have not even heard
26:01
whether there is a Holy Spirit." And he said, "Into what then were you baptized?" And they said, "Into John's baptism." Paul said, "John baptized with the
26:12
spirit of repentance, telling the people to believe in him who was to come after him, that is in Jesus." When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid
26:24
his hand on them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. There were about 12 men in all. Um this we see the
26:35
resting upon men the the coming because of his connection with Christ after the resurrection and the ascension. We say that,
27:03
Isaiah 11 prophesies this, and I didn't print this one out.
27:20
Then a chute will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. And the spirit of the Lord will rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of
27:30
counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
27:51
John chapter 1. I did not recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water said to me, "He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon him, this is the one who baptizes with
28:03
the Holy Spirit. I myself have seen and have testified that this is the Son of God." Before God." Before the Holy Spirit comes to rest upon men,
28:16
the Holy Spirit came to rest upon Christ. Uh as Isaiah prophesied long long long years ago uh before that the
28:29
spirit of the Lord will rest on him. He will descend upon him and remain. Um, this had to happen before this could happen.
28:58
And the challenge coming up for me is to try to understand in Christ's ministry. How did that work out? Um again, there
29:10
there are people who deny um you know, well, he was the son of God. He was God. He did all of those things uh because he was God. And I think we
29:24
I think we get that wrong. Um I think as he came in the flesh that all of this
29:37
that spirit um he he could not have have done those things. uh that he had to walk in the spirit as um
29:49
to to do what he needed to do for his ministry, but also I think to show us what it means to keep in step with the spirit as Galatians say, Paul says in
30:05
Let's look at some of the the general works of the spirit. And again, we're hoping to uh
30:32
one of the authors says that the spirit's ministry is a divine ministry. It's it it's composed of divine activities. Um
31:00
and again um we we make light. We um you know we kind of giggle when we read the older books when they call him the Holy Ghost. Um and yet um as uh Sinclair Ferguson
31:10
writes, he possesses divine knowledge of divine things.
31:21
Owen writes, "The presence of the spirit in the ministry of the gospel is in his authority, his assistance, communications of gifts and abilities, guidance and direction.
31:34
So it's it's divine activity but it it is real assistance. It's real authority.
31:45
Um, it's real communication of
31:56
God's words of of gifts of abilities and it carries on to this day uh because it is the the gifts as we
32:10
read in in Ephesians uh chapter 4 uh everything that the church needs to to grow and and to edify one another, to
32:22
build one another up, to be connected. All of those things are are supplied by the spirit. It's it's a not just gifts, but it's an administration of those
32:32
gifts uh for the building up of the church. Um church. Um we read these words from Paul in 1 Corinthians 2. Um
32:52
he writes, "Yet we do not speak wisdom among those who are mature, a wisdom, however, not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age who are passing away, but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery.
33:04
the hidden wisdom of God which predestined before the ages to our glory. The wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For if they had understood it, they would
33:16
not have crucified the Lord of glory. But just as it is written, things which the eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the
33:27
heart of men, all that God has prepared for those who love him. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the
33:39
depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of a man which is in him? Even so,
33:50
the thoughts of God no one knows except the spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, so that we may
34:01
know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the spirit, combining
34:11
spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. Um, I know that's a lot, but but to kind of keep in your head as as I read, but
34:22
again, the connection back to what I erased that Ephusion, that thing where you know, he says um,
34:32
in uh, in uh, Isaiah, let me
34:54
yeah the Isaiah 35 passage the the eyes of the blind will be opened. Well, Paul reflects that the the the hearing that we have and the um the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. It's that he who has
35:04
ears to hear, let him hear. The the the things that the spirit h has done, he says they they've they've opened us up to see, to hear, to understand those
35:16
things, but he says they they come through the spirit that they're not um they're not from the wisdom of man. We we don't receive them by um the the
35:27
wisdom of of this age because God hid it from the people who were
35:37
the intelligent the intelligent ones, the ones who um claimed to have that that wealth of wisdom. God hid it from them, but it was revealed to his
35:48
people through the spirit because the spirit searches spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. He says, it's like um how can you how can
35:59
you miss this? And where does his authority come from? It's not from himself. It's it's it's him disclosing what he sees. An authority given to him
36:10
by by God the Father. Yes. Question hand. Um, again, I think we um we're remiss in some of
36:22
these things to see the activity of of the spirit. Uh 2 Corinthians 3, Paul uh goes on further describing this this ministry. Uh and
36:35
again I I can't do justice to explain but listen to the language and the the contrast.
36:46
Such confidence we have through Christ toward God. That's in his ministry. Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God
37:00
who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant. not of the letter, but of the spirit. For the letter kills, but the spirit gives life. But if the
37:12
ministry of death in letters engraved on stone came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of
37:24
his face fading as it was. How will the ministry of the spirit fail to be with even more glory? See, again, we we tend
37:35
to marginalize, minimalize, whatever um to ignore uh the ministry of the spirit, I think, sometimes. And and it's um
37:48
Paul is saying, "No, no, there this this ministry is is more glory than I can explain. thinking about
38:27
They shall not destroy the earth. Spirit is going to fill the earth. So the spirit is primarily
38:39
knowing God and also the communication of God's presence with us, right? Yeah. Yeah. The spirit is he's communicating. He's he but with an
38:51
authority but with an assistance you know to opening our ears opening our eyes to see. Chuck you it's along the same line. I found that the economy in the church between the
39:05
charismatic one side. Yeah. You have ministry of the spirit through which we have the mind of
39:16
Christ. What is the role of the ministry of the word? I think that's whatuding is the ministry of the spirit
39:29
in Christ which is the word. I think the challenge is to bring the two together you're the people you're the people.
39:40
Yeah. I think they separated two things that God joined together. Yeah. a very difficult challenge. difficult challenge. Well, and I and I hopefully
39:52
as we look at how Christ kept in step with the spirit, if I could borrow Paul's words to describe Jesus. Um,
40:03
seeing how that goes together. Just little phrases again as I look at Luke, the little phrases about be careful how you hear. It's like,
40:15
okay. Um okay. Um he also says things like you know the um when he's talking about not judging Jesus will use a phrase like um and I'm
40:28
not going to get it right um but the idea of uh the the measure which you measure others
40:40
will be the measure that you receive. And I thought about that in terms of the the way that we we measure other
40:51
people's actions or my reaction to them, what they say only by my little measure. And Jesus is saying
41:02
you need to understand how to really measure. You need to and but again does do we put that those kind of phrases
41:12
those little things that he says to the disciples in the boat the little private things oh ye of little faith or um
41:23
those kind of little comments that he makes do we put those in a box and say well that's that's Jesus as a man but when he raised Gyrus's daughter that was
41:34
that was his God part or even if you say that's the spirit helping him. Why do you put the things that he says his comments and his preaching and teaching
41:47
and of the coming of the kingdom? Why would we put that in a box? Well, that's just Jesus as a man. I I think we need to to see how Jesus walked
41:57
in in again using that phrase kept in step with the spirit in all of those things. I was struck by your reading first
42:15
and understanding in the mind of all parents have experienced their children repeating something they heard not yet fully understand the meaning behind it behind it and you have to educate them the way
42:27
that you use that wrong but that's an example word understanding you're you're foolish.
42:38
Yeah. I think I think the opposite is also true. Extreme wisdom that cannot be communicated is foolishness to those who hear it. Like someone explaining
42:50
someone explaining high levels of chemistry or calculus to me is confusing to me. The words don't mean anything. I can recognize there's something there.
43:02
something there. So when we focus on Christ, right, we fail to understand the meaning of the words and we just regurgitate.
43:16
What would Jesus do? Yeah. Jesus said in that situation yeah without understanding the man who tried to cast out demons and he's like well I know Jesus and I've heard of Paul but I don't know who you
43:27
are who in the world are you yeah so we have to understand that
43:41
y thank you yes along the same brings the knowledge But I think it's I think it all has to be in the ideave.
44:14
Okay. of life. of life. And then first Peter talks about talks about why we don't
44:24
indulge in those flesh anymore. It's because we don't live in the flesh anymore. We live on that plane and that is given by the spirit. And so
44:36
we don't live to see the body. We live the mind and the
44:56
Okay. Um I thought you were going to quote Romans 8. Um because it I think you must have been reading that recently. Let me this I think is what's missing but tell me if it's not.
45:09
Paul writes in Romans 8 uh verse 9, "However you are not in the flesh but in the spirit. If indeed the spirit of God dwells in you, but if anyone does not
45:19
have the spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him. If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of
45:29
righteousness. But if the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal
45:41
bodies through his spirit who dwells in you. Okay. Yes. Okay. Yes. Is that root of Jesse too? Bringing life from stone.
45:59
All right. Um, I've run out of time before I've run out of notes. Um, I was going to talk about the the gifts and then um then um I don't know it was one of the um
46:12
something I was reading said um the way it came across to me this is not the way it was written because it was more intellectual than this. But have you ever noticed how the father and the
46:25
son and the holy spirit the outworking of the three again as I think of it the unity of the trinity and the trinity in unity work together and I just started
46:38
looking through some passages and uh you know came up with with six pretty easily. um summon benedictions. Uh the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the
46:49
love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. That's that's a pretty heavy I'll I'll take that. That's that's a
47:00
good word. Um but just um we'll talk about it next time, but just seeing that as you read, seeing those those passages
47:10
where the father, son, and holy spirit are are all together, the three in one. And again, getting our brains around that concept is is hard. But but we see
47:23
them working and we see the cooperation. that we see the uh the interaction um and how how can we
47:40
have two and not the three um again again that's kind of what I was thinking as I was typing some of these things is is is do do I make that mistake um as well so uh we'll continue uh looking at
47:51
some of these general works of the spirit next time um also the the promise that that Jesus gave us uh as he gave it to his disciples and I think by again
48:03
extension to all of us uh who believe regarding the Holy Spirit uh so don't don't um don't um don't go away without you know seeing
48:15
that as well and that we are directed to to pray for the Holy Spirit the coming of the Holy Spirit um in in by Jesus in Luke chapter 11. So, we'll look at those
48:27
next time. But, um, again, hopefully it gives you some some idea of, um, the the work of the Holy Spirit. Yes,
48:38
it's different from the Old Testament now that we're New Testament believers, but um it's uh as Paul writes, it
48:50
if the if the spirit of of the dead, the law was glorious, how much more glorious the work of the Holy Spirit? Let's pray.
49:01
Our father, we thank you for these things that you reveal in your word and that the Holy Spirit is still alive and working, revealing, giving spirit of of
49:14
strength, the spirit of insight, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, giving gifts for the building up of the body of Christ, communicating to us the
49:25
glory that is in Christ, the life that he lived, the death that he died, the glory that he now has
49:37
in sitting at your right hand. And we thank you for all these things being revealed to us. But we ask, Father, that that we would
49:49
strive to to walk to keep in step with your spirit that we might live though we live in the flesh, that we would walk by
50:00
the spirit, that we would not um grieve your Holy Spirit, but that we would walk in this newness of life, in
50:11
this true life, in a way that pleases, honors you, and glorifies your name we ask in Christ's name.
