father we do thank you again for the opportunity to be together to be in your word pray that you would guide our thoughts this evening and our conversation that it would be edifying that it would be pleasing in your
0:14
sight we ask that your Holy Spirit would not only indwell us but guide us into all truth open your word to us and help us to understand the times in which we
0:24
live and how we are to live in them for we ask in Jesus name
0:35
amen so we're moving uh toward the the end of this session couple weeks after tonight is the plan and uh hopefully at starting to pull the pieces together um and the the general
0:49
topic for tonight is is contemporary it's the critical race Theory and black lives matter and wokeness and
0:59
stuff like that but actually I I'm I'm not intending to speak much about there there's some in your notes and you you can always look up stuff um a very good book
1:11
by a fellow by the name of Owen Sten uh it's uh called Christianity and wokeness uh and it's it's good um and
1:23
it's not um it it seems to be well considered but what I want to talk about is really the the uh the underlying if I could use the yeah
1:33
Spirit uh that is behind these different movements and then discuss how the church's response to each of these
1:45
movements over time takes the church down into the weeds and and often leads it astray and it gets lost in the
1:56
weeds when it really should be staying above the fry but I wanted to begin with what I always consider to be a very enigmatic statement of Our Lord in um
2:07
Matthew 18 where um or is it 16 anyhow where Peter is trying to keep Jesus from going to Jerusalem and being
2:19
crucified and Jesus famously turns to him and said get behind me Satan for you do not have the interests of God in mind but the interests of man
2:31
and you know when I've read that over the years I thought well how does Satan have the interests of Man At Heart what what does he care about man reading it
2:42
in the English especially it makes it sound like you know Satan you don't care about God you care about man well Satan doesn't care about anybody it's it's it's inimical to his
2:54
personality to his nature to be caring and so that that little phrase you have the interests of man and not of God is
3:04
something that should kind of stand out like are God's interests and man's interest at opposition and Satan is taking man's side against God well no he
3:18
is The Great Deceiver That's what Satan means the the accuser he's he's an accuser and a deceiver and a liar which means he doesn't he's not looking out for the best interests of man
3:30
what he's doing is he's striving to unite Mankind in Rebellion against God so in in that sense he has he has the
3:43
things of man as a fallen creature in his mind and in his his his purposes Aaron you said the phrase you
3:58
Ed taking man's way
4:22
is yes I I think that is correct um that it it's not a matter of of Satan taking man's side man has abdicated and and has aligned himself and Allied himself with Satan um but I I think it's you know
4:34
they kind of Zechariah Chapter 3 shows us the nature of the accuser then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord
4:46
and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him to accuse him again that's just a play on words because that's what the Hebrew word Satan means to accuse
4:57
so the bottom line is Satan is not looking out for our best interests and so what does Jesus mean there well well Peter's trying to oppose Jesus in
5:08
performing that Supreme Redemptive act that would lead a portion of mankind to Salvation and so that's Satan doesn't
5:20
want that to happen because what he wants is he wants to unite Mankind in rebellion and so you know you hear a lot about conspiracy the
5:30
theories and um perhaps too much about conspiracy theories but there is one fundamental conspiracy going on and that is the prince of the power of the air
5:40
trying to undo and overturn the work of God that that is a conspiracy um and we are not we are not unaware of Satan's devices Paul says in
5:50
2 Corinthians we are aware of his schemes or are we again I think screw tape letters is a is a very good book to read on this score remembering that it
6:01
is an allegory it is not inspired but it does seem to show that Satan it it brings out the subtleness of Satan at one point Satan become
6:17
like Association has Association has become a Christian thing because when you talk to Jews right and Muslims have Satan as
6:30
well word but it was always a Christian thing yeah but but people think of when you say Satan it's immediately like Catholic or Orthodox or that's a shame um that
6:41
that shouldn't be but uh that would only be because that would not be true of protestantism in the first three
6:51
centuries but with the enlightenment affecting mostly north northern and western Europe and and nor North America which is predominantly
7:02
Protestant we don't believe in that anymore I'm sorry uh why why is it when people say sa Satan in terms of a Christian Association people tend to
7:12
think Catholic or or Eastern Orthodox well that's only because modern Protestants don't believe in him anymore they they don't that's it's just they've cast that off liberal liberalism doesn't
7:23
believe in in a in an evil spirit uh the prince of of evil don't believe in the personality of Satan okay but that it
7:34
never wasn't a Christian thing from very early on um and it was also a Christian thing for the reformers and their heirs
7:45
so you you read about Satan in um 17th century English pamphlets and whatnot he he doesn't start to disappear until the 19th century um which is exactly not the
7:56
20th century which is why CS Lewis wrote the screw tape letters okay um but the the the con the conspiracy then the
8:17
conspiracy is Satan and Paul doesn't mince words about what he tries to do and um that he is the the power behind the powers and
8:28
principalities is it Peter who who says he he goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour now you know you've probably heard it preached that
8:38
he he's he's got a roar but no bite okay no he's not gumming people to death okay um Jude Jude says even the Archangel Michael didn't rail against
8:50
say we we we shouldn't either overestimate or underestimate his powers but we should always recognize that he exists and even though it's not
9:03
modern and scientific to think that he does biblically he does um and also from a history uh both of religion
9:13
and of of humanity it makes sense that he does that there is a great deal of deception deception that that otherwise um man should be able to see through so
9:26
the blindness that he brings about um he said he's he's the one who holds the keys of death Hebrews talks about his his being in charge of death and so he
9:36
really is the great adversary and he is the one that Jesus came to take on and to conquer he didn't come to take on the Roman Emperor or the Empire he came to
9:48
take on the Empire of evil which is not the Soviet Union but Satan how however as we talked earlier weeks back about the powers and principalities
9:59
we ought to recognize that first that's what beh that's what's behind what we see happening in the world are the powers and principalities and at their head as
10:10
it were maybe the pope of those Powers is Satan but we also should know that his
10:21
um the range of his operation is strictly limited by God and ultimately he has already been defeated at the
10:31
cross so death no longer has its Victory death no longer has its sting but that doesn't mean Satan is out of business that he's hung up his you know he's he's
10:42
packed up and gone to Florida or something you know he is still very much in business and we should also remember thirdly that there's nothing new Under the Sun so that the the crisis or ideology
10:56
ideology dour is really just just another manifestation of the LIE however we tend as a church to roll up our sleeves and to dig
11:09
in to whatever current manifestation of deception is being foed upon the unbelieving world and in doing so much of the church
11:20
actually adopts the deception every time they they Ally themselves with the deception because the best truths and you are the best lies and you you've got
11:32
to assume that Satan being the most subtle of God's creature is is the best liar and the best lies will always have a visible amount of Truth in
11:43
them and he's a past Master at that and so we're going to talk in some detail about what those lies look like and why
11:55
so many Christians are seduced and that I think that is the only word to describe what happens to Christians when these movements ideologies black lives
12:07
matter critical race Theory whether a temperance movement abolition Social Gospel Liberation theology feminism it's it's
12:19
seduction and it shouldn't take it shouldn't take a great deal of wisdom for us to realize that this is really just the
12:30
same lie in a different package especially living in our time when these things do seem to be coming along much
12:40
more rapidly um than they did in the past in terms of what what is you know what's the big deal now uh because in five years it won't be the big deal anymore there'll be something else um and and so
12:51
we ought to recognize that these are really just manifestations of the same um wickedness and so so the the conspiracy if there is you know and I think it is is to
13:17
Rebellion to essentially if it were possible and and it does seem to be that at least in in a SE segment of humanity in any generation to remove man from the
13:28
possibility of redemption to make him irredeemable now the the the classic example of this is the Tower of Babel
13:38
where God himself says what could what can they not achieve if they act together now nothing good okay but his
13:49
grace motivated him to confuse the languages because otherwise that that Unity that Union of human effort and human thought would have solidified
14:01
rebellion and sin and made man again from a human perspective irredeemable that would be the ultimate victory for Satan is for man to become
14:13
irredeemable so uniting man in sin and Rebellion again this is this is
14:24
fundamentally towerb building and why Jesus says what he says to Peter it it it the reason I think he says that is because this is what it looks like it looks like human wisdom
14:35
and human effort to bring about a new world order or a League of Nations or a United Nations it's just the tower all over
14:48
again it's the bringing together of human thought and action without reference to God without honor to God without worship to God and and ultimately without even reference to God
15:00
that that is Satan's scheme of which we are not unaware okay but we are so often unaware because his
15:11
perhaps his greatest deception is to convince such a large proportion of professing Christians that he doesn't exist and that what we really are
15:22
dealing with are government bureaucracies and politicians or liberals you know we we're that but Paul says we we're not battling against flesh
15:33
and blood I mean how how much clearer could he be than when he says we we battle not we wrestle not against flesh and blood well that's if the church were
15:43
to stand in front of a mirror especially the Western evangelicalism what are we doing we're battling against flesh and blood the weapons of our Warfare are not carnal what are we using carnal weapons
15:56
I mean we're doing we're just about doing everything that Paul says not to do and it's because of the deception of the father of lies he's got enough truth in each of
16:09
these um manifestations of his conspiracy for Christians either to come alongside and adopt it or to deny even
16:23
the truth that's contained in it they seem to be the two diametrically posed reactions either we buy into it and we're totally woke or we deny that there's any racism in our society never
16:36
has been okay neither of those are truth they're not truth positions and if they're not truth positions they cannot be positions for the church or any
16:48
believer but again we we're not really thinking in thing of in in Paul's terms um we're thinking frankly we're just afraid and most of what we do is out of
17:00
fear we're afraid that um this particular racial group or ethnic group is going to rise up and kill us in our sleep and so we better or we're afraid
17:11
that our way of life is going to be overturned and we're not going to have the Liberties that we are used to none of that is God's plan none of
17:22
that is new Humanity New Creation none of that is none of that you will find in okay so so that you know as we're coming to the to the end of this particular
17:33
study we're really coming to the end of four sessions on Pauline Theology and hopefully we're we're starting to think more like Paul and less like Talking
17:44
Heads on Fox news or CNN or even many from the pulpits and the seminaries and think like Paul
17:54
so what we're seeing today with things like critical race Theory frankly um critical race Theory and I don't know how much you know about it and I don't Advocate that you get
18:06
down in the weeds with it but it is essentially Marxism with race substituted for
18:16
economic strata okay and Marxism is simply the um the the age-old philosophy of alienation within Human Society but
18:28
Marxism is perhaps the the overarching Paradigm for modern society so we can we can look it this
18:47
Marx was himself a disciple not personally but through Reading of of Hegel Hegel was the one who said that he said many things but his his his basic
18:58
philosophy of history is that history is constantly evolving through thesis antithesis and then synthesis that synthesis then becomes
19:11
the next thesis opposition Rises up eventually there's compromise and a new an uh synthesis and that's that's Hegel well Marx takes that and he says okay
19:22
the basic structure of human society is economic conflict economic conflict conflict between those who have and those who do not the
19:34
oppressors and the oppress the capitalists and the worker okay so he defines all human interaction in terms
19:47
of economic oppression and economic stratification and ultimately the word is economic alienation well Marx's philos philosophy um is
20:01
going to going to be the the underlying theme for Liberation
20:17
theology very popular over the past 100 years or 70 years in Latin America the ultimate what what really matters is the political oppression of society not so much
20:28
economic now it's political okay well you know what what are the what do the women do well they're going to throw in their lot with feminist feminism and feminist
20:40
theology okay what is the fundamental alienation well it's gender and it's oppression right men oppressing women see this is what underlies it's kind of
20:52
like if you distill the argument you you come back what's left at the bottom of the of the beaker is marks okay and not grouo either it's you know it's it all comes back to
21:05
alienation and yeah well that's what it does okay so what we've added in in and it's actually about 40 40 or 50 years old critical race
21:31
also James Con in the 1960s black theology it's critical race Theory okay Human Society is fundamentally a matter of alienation what is the root cause of that alienation race economics feminism
21:44
political oppression see it's just substituting an an a word for the word alienation that Human Society manifests
21:56
itself in all of its its iterations and all of its Generations as alienation that much is actually
22:12
true and this is where conservative Christians are in error in reacting to each of these every one of these from Marx and economic oppression to the the
22:23
uh political structures of Latin America to the male dominated societies of the West and of the world to racism systemic
22:36
racism they're all true there is that form of alienation in society and not just American society or Western Society but
22:47
all societies every society has gender economic political ethnic racial
22:58
alienation okay and it's that element of truth that first of all draws one segment of Christianity toward these movements towards these ideologies and
23:11
they adopt them that's why so many churches today are adopting woke ideology because they look at our history and our current situation and they say yes there is racism in American
23:24
society never mind the fact that that the the news does tend to report what benefits the benefits the subscriptions they do not tend to report
23:35
much in in the way of of advances made Against Racism over the past Generations but it's still a reality okay and so Christians who are
23:47
sensitive um and I'll give them credit I I'll give them credit whether it's due or not because I don't know their hearts but if they're sensitive to that oppression and alienation they're drawn
23:57
to the ideology because it sounds Christian and in fact just about every one of these can be packaged in
24:11
because oppression is contrary to the gospel alienation is contrary to the gospel so you can understand why so much of the
24:21
church in each of these different Realms a large segment of professing Christian Christianity has Allied itself with the with the ideology while the rest tend to deny
24:35
that there's even a example Marxism well Marxism is predominantly
24:45
economic and communism is predominantly an economic an economic system so system so socialism is the church's alliance with Marxism and we
24:58
look at the early Church in the book of Acts and we see that they had all things in common and no one claimed to have anything of his own but they sold their possessions and gave to the poor that's
25:10
socialism conveniently ignoring what Peter says to ananas about his own property being his own property and under his own control it was not socialism it was not communism it was
25:24
benevolence a big difference but it looks like it and so many especially within the liberal Mainline denominations align themselves with
25:35
socialism against socialism against capitalism well how do the conservatives respond well capitalism is God's economy capitalism is the right way it
25:47
gives everybody gets Freedom okay capitalism is perfect capitalism is not perfect capitalism has a great deal of problem problems it just has fewer
26:00
problems than problems than communism and it is more outwardly successful but inwardly that's
26:12
debatable it's debatable whether mankind we're really not in a position to say we can say very clearly and you know and say I would rather have this as Winston Churchill said you know I would rather
26:25
have the unequal distribution of wealth in capitalism than the equal distribution of poverty in communism we can make a choice between the
26:36
two but we ought not sanctify either one okay these are World Systems these are part of the age which is passing
26:49
away does does anybody think that the new Earth is going to have either economic system or maybe it'll go back to to the Glory Days of the British
27:00
Empire mercantilism okay no it it's not going to have any of those systems will it and even if you look at the Old Testament levitical arrangement of the calendar
27:12
every 50 years all debts were cancelled right every seven years the land was to lie fallow okay so that's not
27:24
capitalism I mean it's like student loans being forgiven now I'm not I'm not an advocate of that I'm just saying well biblically if you happen to graduate in
27:34
year 49 then year 50 you're student loan yeah right I missed it too um you know so I'm not saying that
27:45
people should be forgiven their loans I'm not saying that I'm just saying that the system of Economics the system of male female relationships of ethnic relationships of political systems
27:57
belong ons to this age whatever age it may be because you know capitalism wasn't always the economic system of the West and those systems that once were
28:08
have passed away they're not here anymore and in fact it's it's quite arguable from an economic standpoint that what we have is not capitalism either not in its 19th century form it's
28:20
definitely changed than what it was so these things are changing all the time but what happens is the church looks at these movements and each of these
28:32
movements is a movement of deconstruction let's take apart the society that tradition has given us this
28:43
is the society that we have grown up in our F our parents our grandparents maybe not our great-grandparents you know they change but the change
28:54
usually is is so slow that that any individual generation doesn't really see it you got to go back and look at history to see that for example the East
29:06
India Company was not a capitalist organization it was a Mercantile Monopoly that's a completely different system 300 years ago okay or 200 years
29:16
ago so things do change we don't like that we don't like change and we don't like the instability
29:29
of deconstructionists people who want to cancel culture for example well depending on what the culture is I might push the cancel button too but I don't even know really what what
29:41
that all entails and I really haven't gotten down into the weeds but the point is people who talk like that people for example gender
29:52
fluidity um that really isn't I don't think going to stand the test of time I really don't but maybe it will I don't know um but if it does there won't be much time
30:09
left is it not fair to say that those types of ideologies make us nervous yeah we're a little bit afraid because they are destructive okay the essence of tower
30:22
building is not the promotion of human dignity that may be the tagline but the actual purpose is to
30:34
destroy Human Society uniting it in Rebellion against God by denying his existence or his precepts and uniting
30:44
man in that Rebellion to where as Roman says God gave them over to a depraved mind for a
30:59
shorted the idea of coring man just the right place to where the Judgment of God is tool strikes me that that's a very mechanistic way of looking at almighty God who shows us throughout his patience
31:14
something that the poers of Darkness it seems to me when you're saying this cannot possibly understand right yes yes get Humanity in a place where God has to strike yeah and then he
31:25
doesn't but he does it enough throughout history Sodom and Gomorrah Tower uh he does it enough the exile to to let us know that he will do it and also he
31:37
doesn't need us to be gathered in one place to do it okay he he his his arm is not short either to save or implied to destroy so what we have here in in this
31:49
tower building is fundamentally it it it looks like construction we're building a new world order we're building a tower that will reach up to heaven but actually that
32:00
construction is construction is deconstruction because in building we're tearing down and using the stones of what was a better Society to
32:11
build what is a worse one and that's really the progression of all human society and we ought to know that because Paul tells us that in Acts 17 that God has appointed the boundaries in
32:21
the time of every human family and every Empire and every society so it's
32:34
deconstructive and that's that's kind of a modern world deconstructionists um mostly 20th century French century French philosophers um
32:44
philosophers um Fuko um I always remember leotard you know because of his leggings I don't know I don't think that that's how he pronounced his name but um the these
32:55
were the philosophers who who were basically the deconstructionist you just you just tear apart you don't build anything you just tear apart because there's evil in every human structure
33:05
and yes there is there's alienation in every human society yes there is and as deconstructive they are therefore simply
33:17
destructive they're not constructive they're and if you listen to any of the stuff that's going on and I really don't think you should listen
33:27
to much because it is very discouraging but what you will not hear for example from the squad is any constructive contribution to the governance of this
33:39
country nothing constructive now you're hardpressed to find anything constructive from Congress to begin with but in that segment of of the woke ideology there's nothing constructive
33:51
only destructive it is intended to Foster guilt remorse but not
34:01
progress It's always regress and there's no limit to it there's no limit to the regress if you think that um reparations
34:12
will be will be sufficient then you're very naive you're very very naive if you think that you're going to be able to buy off you know our
34:23
past slave history of slavery no that's not going to happen um hopefully it doesn't happen at all but even it did happen it would not end the situation
34:34
would not it would not um alleviate the sense of alienation what is fundamental to all of these is the necessity of
34:44
victimization okay that is that is a common denominator across the board whether it's the the Native American cultures in Central and South America whether it's women around the world and
34:56
in and in light of the current situation in the Middle East compare the state of women in Islamic countries today in the Middle
35:07
East to the very same countries 50 years ago and not even just to Israel but to Egypt to Iran to Iraq to S not Saudi
35:19
Arabia that's been a mess with to Syria to Lebanon and you will see to Afghanistan Pakistan you see that the lot of wom in
35:29
the and women in these countries has gone down precipitously in terms of their um you can't even use the word equality their status relative to men
35:41
okay they are to feminist victims the irony is they they don't actually count as victims to Modern Western feminists
35:51
even though they are more victimized now than they were in their own countries 15 years ago it's really it shows that truth is not part of all of this but
36:02
here who are the who are the victims blacks and who are the victims the workers you got to have a victim class
36:12
the problem is in order for your system to work you can never not have them as victims so not only is victimization an
36:23
essential category of all of these it must remain which means there can be no solution because if there's a solution if there's reconciliation there are no
36:35
more victims there's no more Rainbow Coalition there's no more black lives matter there's no more feminist agenda because there are no more victims that actually shows us the
36:49
solution but not in the world not in the world Okay so again what what is the common denominator
37:04
victimization does anybody have a comment so far anybody dis disagree Tim I was just one sh I mean in practice certainly Marxism communism after that political context
37:16
but you can see the shift of kind of postmodern deconstruct modern and postmodern ideas deconstruction in the 20th century and that marks at least
37:54
Western World um within the church the announcement of that destruction was was providentially left to Carl Bart whose commentary on Romans
38:05
basically was not a commentary on Romans it was a commentary on Europe and the optimism of Enlightenment ideology that found itself
38:16
completely eviscerated by a senseless War where the powers sacrificed and slaughtered Millions of people for no
38:29
apparent reason than their own political survival and Glory okay so it was a a horrible perhaps one of the most horrid
38:39
Wars ever fought because it had no no redeeming quality on any side okay it was all a uh well I don't
38:53
even know what it was everybody every historian can say this is what it was but in fact it wasn't that it wasn't that it didn't have a uh a discernable purpose or value but what it did do was
39:06
not only destroy the the ancient dynasties the anal regime of Europe where Empires fell and Kings abdicated and were assassinated it also destroyed
39:18
the the enlightenment optimism of progress in the enlightenment the Industrial Revolution progress progress progress well this was not progress and
39:29
so this is kind of the beginning of the postmodern and this is where you're going to get the French deconstructionists they're going to come in and say all that Enlightenment stuff all that modernity all that hope in
39:40
progress not going to happen but it shows for us something very interesting because Marx
39:58
himself spoke of the new Earth that the heelan process of capitalism itself would bring about capitalism's destruction and the rise of the proletariat of the working class and
40:10
we would have finally Utopia a classless society okay and he uses terminology that is actually quite
40:21
Pauline that all of the distinctions will be erased of course in his mind that's because all of the owners of capital will have been killed okay they
40:32
will have been destroyed not converted they will they will be destroyed the subtlety of this whole mindset is that it has often it has not
40:45
only the language of Christianity classless society Equity Justice love Harmony got any problem
40:57
with those we those we shouldn't okay but then it also has teleology it has that goal that it that it believes that its ideology and its
41:08
movement is moving toward a perfect Human Society where the the means of production are owned equally by everyone
41:19
that's marks or that racism there there will be no consideration of skin color among human beings but as you watch them
41:29
do it and and this these as Tim notes these all come after that and they're losing that hope in fact some of them
41:39
don't even have it it's just destroy destroy destroy that's what we're here for is to destroy not to build not to Hope Abe and then Abigail you think this
41:53
scenario all been going on oh yes I me this can this can name see that's why I call it tower
42:07
building right all through time all through time which is what Paul means when he says this age is passing away he he's not necessarily saying that the Lord is coming back immediately he
42:17
doesn't know that but what we can say at any age in which we live is that this age is passing away and we can say as I said earlier with with calet there's nothing new Under the Sun but but that
42:30
point is very very important to keep in mind because you know what do you hear today in the Evangelical circles it's
42:40
either going woke or reacting against it okay well 40 years ago it was Evangelical feminism 60 years ago it was black
42:53
theology okay or if you were in in South America it would be Liberation theology I mean our the current pope is a Liberation Theologian it's what he grew
43:03
up in okay but it's really nothing different I can trace what I'm doing here is simply saying like I said before About Emanuel Kant there are certain
43:14
agents of Satan Charles Darwin that become somewhat of The Godfather of the particular development of an ideology in a particular period of
43:26
time okay so all I'm saying I'm not saying that Marx invented this or that he was the first one no by no means I'm just saying that he's the immediate
43:37
father of the ones that we're dealing with does that make sense you know yeah you're right it goes It goes as far back as the garden and Satan I was just
44:22
right of women so we just need reverse right and and whites should be under the domination of blacks and the capitalist should be under the denom domination of the of the working class and you're right it it victimization has to be passed on but it has to be
44:34
victimization that's that's a essential characteristic a sin quanon of of all of these movements is there has to be a victim class and the the nature
44:46
of of sin in the human race and Paul we're going to look at Ephesians 2 the nature of sin and the corruption of the human society is that one one need not look far to find a victim
45:00
class whether you're reading history or whether you're just looking outside at the world around you will there be a victim class will there be a class of
45:11
people who people who are uh are uh powerless yes I mean that's essentially the definition of a victim isn't it
45:22
somebody who is powerless against others who exercise power over them to their own will and to their own end okay yet
45:33
we still have that now we have likeed we have liked to convince ourselves in America that we we are not powerless okay um
45:43
but you're you're awfully naive when you go through
45:58
power I did did not have sufficient power to save the cherry salsa that I bought in Traverse City Michigan from the Agents of TSA who were determined to protect the world from that cherry
46:11
salsa because it was 4 ounces it exceeded 3 o and I
46:22
blathered but I realized I was a victim and by the way I'm starting a new movement in favor of cherry salsa what is TSA but our voluntary
46:35
agreement to Simply nullify the eth amendment and allow illegal search and seizure every time we fly or go into a
46:45
national H in the name of safy in the name of safety or go into a national park okay I I mean we had to go through TSA to see the USS Constitution come on I know it's still a commission ship but
46:57
really even Hamas can do better than that okay come on like was
47:11
LGBT because I don't know if you said someone else Les Fist and gays
47:26
are I didn't say that but if you read for example JK Rowling and I don't mean her Harry Potter books but just some of the things she said the said the lgp that thing I can never get the letters right is actually now
47:38
diametrically opposed to feminism because by removing all genders you've removed the purpose of feminism
47:49
okay because there there ain't no women anymore so they can't be feminists so yeah there there's there's inherent destruction in each of these which if we
48:00
looked at history we could realize they've all failed and disappeared and they will because God will not allow them to succeed okay uh but but the problem is there'll be one
48:10
right after it it doesn't mean that that there'll be an Evangelical Revival among lesbians and gays and and feminists no that's not that's not going to happen it
48:21
may mean that God will give them over to a depraved a depraved mind in which case they will be as far as we can tell irredeemable they will be hardened and
48:32
as God said to Jeremiah don't even pray for these people you think some of the things that God has said through His prophets are pretty scary you know to
48:44
think about and just Ponder God giving over people to their depravity of their mind giving over that has such a sense of finality to it that if if it were
48:56
possible and and and I'm don't have the mind of God on this but it just sound to me as saying okay you've gone too far you have filled up this quota of sin of
49:08
the amorites my patience with Sodom and Gomorrah is at an end doesn't mean he's going to rain down fire and brimstone he may simply say don't even
49:46
right creature oh yeah they they they are yeah they they are um they'll claim to Beed
49:57
BYU they don't right anything but God they they can rail against and work against any other system of authority but God's Authority is totally rejected um which
50:07
is which is again indicative of who's behind all this this is not movements toward Freedom it's not movements toward a more harmonious Society that's what we
50:19
have to see through and I think we can we can easily see through through it by the absence in all of these of the Gospel just I was
50:31
going to say the idea of inheriting um your victim status or these inherited power structures that people just they don't earn they're given through time through stations or
50:43
anything like that that's true right that's true in their worldview but the idea of us inheriting a sin nature original sin is not no no no no no you
50:54
can't you can't blame blame Adam you can blame God if you even believe in him but you can't blame Adam you can't blame uh you could blame your environment or your education but it's never you you were
51:08
not born in iniquity and conceived in iniquity born in sin uh yeah there's all total denial of biblical anthropology biblical soteriology biblical
51:18
ecclesiology biblical Society okay and and that's where Paul cuts through the fog and if we follow Paul it's like passing
51:30
through the waters as they stand on either side so when you look at the these things happening and you can see it happening right now in the churches so
51:41
many Evangelical churches are preaching critical race Theory now from the pulpits they're preaching white repentance white confession okay white
51:51
responsibility for racism um that we are all all white people are racist okay that's what they're that's what's coming out of many American pulpits today including ones that we would have said
52:03
10 years ago were Orthodox and and conservative but but they are not so there's there's either the option of adopting and
52:21
assimilating the ideology of the day and again this is not without plausibility because in every instance of victimization there is in fact a
52:32
victim capitalism leair capitalism of the 19th century was oppressive read oppressive read Dickens or just read history I mean
52:44
there their child labor um jobsite safety was non-existent exploitation of workers was the lifeblood blood of La Fair
52:58
capitalism of these things don't
53:13
see issue but you see feminism because I would say and and this is really off the cuff I would say that Islam is one of Satan's greatest Satan's greatest triumphs and that Islam has already
53:29
subsumed these these are the things that come in liberated free societies where thought is free and speech is free and we can take for
53:42
granted our position before God because he has blessed us so much use much use Christian thought words principles in
53:54
these yeah yes they do that's why they're more successful they won't be quite as quite as successful well they won't be quite as successful in many Islamic countries because they would be dead I mean
54:06
seriously they would not be successful in China because they would be dead you think about it this this is not this this only works in the west when people have the freedom to speak if you
54:19
were to raise these issues I mean the the the Prime Minister a few years ago of Iran claim that there are no homosexuals in Iran they had the whole
54:29
thing when the world C went to guitar and all the Western nations were swearing up and down that you would be safe even if you were you know whatever
54:39
kind of kind of awful thing you are and thenar was just like no we don't no you cannot right you
54:50
you don't you just don't even even our great Ally Saudi Arabia you don't walk around with a Bible under your arm you actually don't go off the if you're working in a company they an
55:00
American company you don't go off the compound okay um you know these are these are not free countries and so they've already been bottled up this is a uniquely Western problem and and what
55:14
what makes it so hard to deal with it is that we really like our Western Civilization we like the civilization that gives us these problems we just
55:24
don't like the problems it gives us does that make sense we we don't want to exchange and this is where once you give Liberty you can never limit it without
55:35
taking it away and it's no longer a free society when it begun begin to be taken away and and we don't like that okay so
55:46
yeah you won't see this kind of stuff in China you won't see this stuff in North Korea you won't see this stuff in the Middle East um you will see it in Israel you do see this in Israel okay and you
55:59
do see this in Europe and you do see this in in in North America okay so this is something that has followed primarily the impact of
56:10
protestant Christianity I don't know about Japan that would be an interesting one to see so adopt and assimilate or oppose and deny this is kind of the
56:31
and this is another very palpable response of of American evangelicalism is simply for example to just flatly and categorically deny that the police
56:49
profile I profile when I'm when I'm looking to hire somebody in engineering or at our company I I mean we we profile because our our minds are Fallen we have to resist that profiling that we
57:02
we do we do naturally the naturally the police profile insurance companies profile which is why your sons pay a
57:13
higher premium than your daughters because statistics tell them that young men are more likely to get into accidents and that's profiling okay to to say that police do
57:24
not profile to say that that you give a man who probably has at best a high school diploma you give him a gun and you teach
57:37
him how to knock people on the head and you don't think any of them are going to go a miss you don't think any of them are going to exceed their Authority in the
57:49
use of their power I'm not saying all of them that's where you know it goes It goes to extremes that's why I'm talking about here either they say all police are racists including the black ones
58:00
that's amazing okay because they're not black you'll notice you'll notice something in critical race Theory white is in quotation marks because white is a state of mind not of skin color so
58:12
blacks can be whites but whites can't be
58:22
blacks yes okay so I mean you you you listen to it and you think that's not that can't be true because it is completely irrational um but on the one side you say all police are racist they they they
58:33
target blacks but then the response is there is no systemic racism in our society we dealt with that with the 13th Amendment no we didn't because the 13th
58:44
Amendment did nothing to the heart okay and the Jim Crow laws came after the 13th Amendment Yuri I've noticed that in the last 30 years the equal opportunity
58:57
employer has changed what is it now because I haven't seen that before meant that you can hire you know femal blacks Muslims whoever but
59:10
now it means that you should well you in some cases depending on what it what you're dealing with you must yes uh if you're bidding on government contracts
59:20
you must um you you have a quota in your subcontracts that that have to be representative of of ethnic and racial and female yeah yeah we someone work for
59:32
a 1450 company for a long time I me you're penalized so you actually have you're budgeted so much
59:58
right put it's crazy think all the put in one
